Expanded steel mesh is the most economical type of metal material. It is made of low carbon steel sheet or plate, which is more economical and cheaper than stainless steel expanded metal sheet or aluminum expanded metal sheet. But it is easy to corrode or rust in the harsh environment. For the soution, the steel expanded metal sheets are commonly treated through galvanized or PVC coated surface.

There are two type of galvanized surface treatment, electric galvanized or hot dipped galvanized. Electro-galvanized expanded metal is much cheaper than hot-dip galvanized, but the hot-dip version lasts significantly longer.

It can be applied to more applications and make them beautiful and high class. As a composite material, PVC-coated steel expanded mesh is ubiquitously deployed in commercial façades, industrial safety systems, and civil infrastructure projects, leveraging synergistic properties of metallic strength and polymeric environmental protection. The product offers an extensive color palette spanning standard options (white, silver, black, blue, green, orange) alongside fully customizable color solutions.
