Low carbon steel expanded mesh is made of low carbon steel sheet, which is more economical and cheaper than stainless steel expanded metal sheet or aluminum expanded metal sheet. Made from a sheet of carbon steel that is uniformly slit and stretched, our product is available in small, medium and heavy type expanded metal mesh, with openings in the shapes of diamond, hexagon and square.

But it is easy to corrode or rust in the harsh environment. Expanded metal sheets are commonly treated through galvanized or PVC coated surface. The galvanized surface treatment can be divided into electric galvanized or hot dipped galvanized. The electric galvanized steel expanded metal is much cheaper than the hot dipped galvanized steel expanded metal sheet, but the service life is not so as the hot dipped galvanized expanded mesh.
